Write a five-paragraph essay (introduction, three main paragraphs, conclusion),

Write a five-paragraph essay (introduction, three main paragraphs, conclusion), 750-1000 words, about the United States between 1865 and 1950s based on your learning in this class (Units 1 & 2).
There is no single history of the U.S. during a particular period. Even your textbook chooses what to include and what to leave out of a chapter or topic. While we should all demand that history be based on verified primary source material, every historian chooses what they think are the most important things to include in their story. You are the historian now. What do you think are the most important issues, events, and/or ideas during that period? Write about at least three different issues/events/ideas. Include topics from both Unit 1 and Unit 2. Use at least three sources outside of your textbook. Do not include direct quotations–paraphrase the information from other sources. Cite your sources using Chicago-style footnotes or endnotes and bibliography: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/chicago_manual_17th_edition/cmos_formatting_and_style_guide/web_sources.html.
