please write detailed description about the unique challenges and triumphs of being a first-generation college student. Discuss how my journey has shaped your determination, resilience, and commitment to higher education. Include that i’m an immigrant from Somalia who survived the war with his family and we decided to migrate to the USA and starts a new life. describe how we faced a lot of challenges coming to the US and that it took a lot of time to adjust with society and culture even though we barley spoke english. also explain that i had to start community college as soon as i arrived to the country and beside all these challenges i successfully took all my classes with no summer vacation in between for four consecutive years just to attain economics degraa. Additionally, explain that as a member LGBTQ community and the struggle i faced to express myself in Somalia was beyond stressful and dangerous to me and my family. having the opportunity to be here today and working on my goals and being myself is a grateful accomplishment and i want to continue these accomplishment by pursuing a masters degree at Okalhoma university
