This work is a first introduction to research in preparation for a final dissert

This work is a first introduction to research in preparation for a final dissertation. First, you will indicate the subject and object of the work. You can choose a work from the course’s required reading list. You can choose the way in which you approach the work, but the subject must be linked to the problem of the course, that is to say, to feminism, to the issues of women’s writing and to the condition of women in the 20th century. You will prepare a bibliography with three critical sources (scholarly articles, monographs, collective chapters) which analyze the subject or object that interests you. Then, you will write a summary of the sources which describes the state of the subject.
Note: You must find the critical sources for the synthesis yourself; you cannot use the theoretical readings from the course.
Questions to ask yourself when preparing your summary:

What is the problem with the source?

How does the author develop his argument?

What are the keywords in the source?

What are the conclusions?

What is the overall vision of my subject through the sources?

What connections can be made between the sources? What connects them?

How can these sources contribute to my analysis of the work?
