This paper is for an American Literature class. It is an ARGUMENTATIVE Research essay, meaning the thesis has to be arguable and take a stance and use the sources to make an argument. The specifications are on the outline provided. Also included is the proposal for the essay and the central quesiton is: “What effects does ethnic background have on an individual’s identity during childhood?” The two other documents provided are guidelines for an intro and conclusion and the annotated bibliography for this paper (there are some errors with formatting on it, dont worry about it). So, use mainly those sources from the annotated bibliography (but can also use others if they seem helpful).
IMPORTANT
The structure of the body paragraphs are to be multiple paragraphs for each sub-topic (see in outline) and make sure to use sources to make claims that relate back to a strong thesis and the central question.
