Once you have selected one of the sub-categories from either Polytheism or Monotheism as a religious system of belief, go back and read the indicated pages in your textbook in the chapter on Religion (Chapter 10).
For this project you will create a Power Point presentation using both images and text. Be as creative as you like in terms of your presentation design and format.
Please address the basic tenets and believes for the religion you selected for your project.
Please examine how this particular religious belief system has influenced the Humanities, particularly in the disciplines of literature, art, architecture and music. Discuss the extent of this influence and its significance for the Humanities and provide examples and images of artwork, architectural works, literary and poetic works, etc.
Your presentation should cover both basic information about the religious practice and a detailed and comprehensive section about how this particular religion has influenced the Humanities.
Examples include, literary works (religious poetry, literature, etc.); artistic works (painting and sculpture); architecture (temples dedicated to polytheistic gods; Jewish temples; Christian cathedrals and churches); religious music (Jewish music [prayer chants, etc.], Christian Music

Your Final Course Project will be in the form of a Power Point presentation which will not be presented in class, rather students will be posting their presentation in the Discussion Forum and responding to one other student’s presentation by posting comments about their presentation. Students please take the time to view all of your classmates’ beautiful presentations.
Please make sure that you have a good balance of between text (written content) and images (your presentation should include both text and images).
Be creative with your presentation design and enjoy the process of designing your presentation since this presentation is uniquely yours. Have fun!
Since your Power Point document will include an introduction slide, section title slides and images, your presentation should include no less than 30 slides (remember that this should be a comprehensive assignment that is substantial as it counts towards 25% of your total grade).
