This paper should be a total of 4 pages long. Please double space your paper. Make sure to write your
name, class, and section at the top of the page. Please write in a Word Document only. Use an easy to
read font. Your font size should be 12. The margins are one inch all the way around.
The Task
Congratulations! This is the last essay for the semester!
This essay is your chance to discuss your process of writing. You have the opportunity to explain how
you write. Discuss your way of preparing for each paper. Did you write an outline? What kind of
outline: bulleted or numbered? How did you write your rough drafts? Did you write it in parts? Over a
couple days? Did you type or hand write the rough draft? How did you make the rough draft into your
final draft? Did you reorganize the rough draft? Who proof read your rough draft so it would be a clean
final draft? If you proof read the rough draft yourself, are there any tricks you used to help you catch
any errors?
Since each paper was different, your thought process will be different, and so your writing process may
also be different.
Please consider using this format for the paper: please write one page about each essay.
• Page one will be about the “Lesson Learned” essay.
• Page two will be about the “Objective Summary” essay.
• Page three will be about the “Movie Review” essay.
o Please divide each page in half. Write one half about your strengths, so brag about all
the elements of your paper that you did well.
o For the other half, please write about any revisions or changes that you would make to
the paper.
▪ Please make sure that you include specific examples that show both your
strengths and your revisions.
• The last page, page 4, will be about you as a writer. Please write about which essay you liked
the best, and tell why. Discuss the kinds of writing (personal writing, creative writing, research
writing) that you like to do and why. Discuss your writing habits: where do you like to write?
What time of day do you do your best writing? Do you like music playing while you write, or do
you need absolute silence?
This essay is a great way to sum up the work you did this semester, so please focus your strengths:
write about the work that you enjoyed and how you made each essay your best. BE POSITIVE AND KIND
