Critiquing a Quantitative Research Article
Research Topic: How the Classroom Environment Affects Student Learning.
Please use the following Qualitative Article Critique Template to complete this module assignment.
To help you understand more about the structure and contents of a qualitative article critique, I hereby attach one sample qualitative article critique. SAMPLE Qualitative Article Critique This is just a sample to give you an idea what it looks like, so you don’t need to follow this. Please get a sense of what it is.
Select one qualitative articles – your selected article has to be the same design (e.g., grounded theory, ethnography, narrative research, general qualitative) that you believe would be the best fit to study your research topic (or design that would best answer your research questions). If you cannot find an appropriate qualitative research article for this assignment, you can either search for another peer-reviewed article through Google Scholars or reach out to me for help. Critique the article according to the following criteria (using a 3-point scale for evaluation: 1-below expectation; 2-meeting criteria; 3-advanced). Assign a point for each criterion below and justify your scoring in a short paragraph (present relevant sections/contents and/or your analysis). You can use a table with 2 columns (similar to Module 5) putting the criteria and score on the left and your explanation on the right, or present your scoring and rationale after each criterion. Start your article critique by providing a full reference in APA format. The critique can be 1~2 pages. Please attach the copy of the article as well.
