1. For this lab activity, you’ll be assessing Timed Up and Go Performance
2. As always, do not put yourself in a situation or complete an activity that you feel is unsafe or that you do not feel that you can execute safely.
3. For this lab activity, you’ll be completing two measurements. One measurement will be performed as the test participant, and another will be performed with you as the test administrator (leading the next participant through all procedures).
Report Instructions:
For credit on this lab, you will be uploading a brief report.
Submit a brief report (up to 2 pages) that reports the results of your Timed Up and Go Performance.
In addition, your report should include a statement of the clinical relevance of the Timed Up and Go procedure. In other words, you should include a brief (1 to 2 paragraph) statement describing how the Timed Up and Go Test is associated with frailty, functional mobility, fitness, and/or health in older populations. Your statement should be supported by three to five peer-reviewed references.
References do not count toward your page limit.
