*Content Area topic of choices
*For each lesson, using the needs identified in the formative assessments for each component, students will identify instructional goals for each component of reading and identify the specific assessment results that guide instruction.
*Identify the LAFS in CPALMS located at http://www.cpalms.org/Public/search/Standard
*Develop a text set using a diverse list of traditional texts and digital texts appropriately matched to student grade level
*Identify 1 lesson (Aligned with the LAFS) for each of the components of reading that are intentional, explicit, & systematic instructional practices to scaffold a skill in each of the components of reading.
*Candidates will annotate each lesson to identify the components that make it intentional, explicit, systematic, and multi-sensory instructional approaches.
*For each component, candidates will also identify two strategies to support the concept. For example, if the component is Expression for Fluency, candidates may identify and describe Reader’s Theater as a possible strategy.
*Candidates will include five ELL modifications/strategies.
*Reflection: What did you learn about the process of developing an integrated unit plan? What were some obstacles? What did you believe went well?
