Hi, Stephanie, — I appreciate all of the info you’ve provided, but I think you may have gotten off track somewhere.
You may want to start with reviewing the “Dr. Rollins and FBA Data Analysis” video in module 3 at around the 31:50 mark. Essentially, you’re taking the data from Sky’s case study and entering it into the Excel Spreadsheet as data counts.
If you look at page 4 of Sky’s case study (it’s the first day of her ABC data), you’ll see that from 7:56-7:58 a.m. while doing morning/group work, she was given an instruction or directive, and displayed work refusal. The teacher redirected her and had a behavior conference (and thus gave her attention), and she stopped the behavior. In the Spreadsheet, you would indicate she had 1 behavior event during that time period. You’ll also mark a tally for the context, antecedent, and consequence. I hope this helps.
Regarding the behavior, you don’t need to describe the behavior for each instance…you just have to could the number of times it happens using the data from Sky’s case study. Let me know how I can help.
Once you fix the data sheet, make sure to update your Word doc as well.
