After completing the required reading each week, I am sure you have thoughts about the different concepts, processes, clinical applications, and many other exploratory ideas. The discussion board assignments are designed to help you reinforce your thoughts as you share them with the class. Enhance your ideas as you locate and share sources other than the text. Enhance the learning of others as you share themes and proficiencies others have yet to experience. The discussion board assignments are not busy work and should not be treated as such. Therefore, all responses (initial and reply posts) should integrate the reading assignments leading to and including the specific week in which the discussion board is assigned. The goal is to have an intellectual discussion driven by facts found in the reading assignments, peer reviewed sources, and personal illustrations that would demonstrate your understanding of the information (be certain to cite your sources). Initial Post: The initial post is the first response you submit for the class to read and engage in discussion. This post should clearly address the question(s) found in the post as well as demonstrate your understanding of the material. All factual information shared will be cited, and the illustrations offered will correlate with the main topic. In other words, do not write about jumping jacks when the subject matter is pushups. This post should be at minimum 8 sentences in length and written formally. In other words, do not use text messaging short cuts or abbreviations as part of your response. Describe an actual or potential triangulating situation. Make yourself one part of the triangle. What are the dangers of the situation you described?
