Your answer should indicate some of the main points in the development of
projective geometry in the 19th century, concentrating on the years after
1850.
You should consider the topic from several points of view (algebraic,
axiomatic, foundational) and in comparison with other formulations of
geometry (non-Euclidean, differential).
It is entirely permissible to rework material from your earlier essays into the
dissertation, but if you copy what you have written before wholesale and
uncritically, then you risk losing marks.

marked.
NOTE, however, that your dissertation should be about 10,000 words, and
that it covers a longer period – the whole of the 19th century.
