2. Detailed ConclusionsClinical researchers carried out a randomized control trial to
determine the benefits of a proposed type of therapy for stroke patients.
Female stroke patients were randomly assigned to one of two experimental groups
(group). The control group received
the standard physical therapy and the treatment group received an additional
emotional therapy. Three months following the treatments, each patient’s
abilities to perform common activities of daily life (ADL) were scored as ordinal variables. Based on the data in the ADL.sav
