WRIT110
Multi Modal Project Formatting for the Final Portfolio
Blog — The text of your blog should look just like the text of your other essays: 12 pt. font,
double spaced, indented paragraphs. Remember that you can imbed links into the text using
the link tool in your word processing program (which is what blogs do). If you are analyzing your
different argument forms as you go, put the part of that analysis focused on the blog right after
the post ends and before moving on to the Status update.
Status Update — The text of your Status Update should look just like the text of your other
essays: 12 pt. font and double spaced. Remember that you can imbed one link into the text
using the link tool in your word processing program (which is what updates do). You can also
include one picture. If you are analyzing your different argument forms as you go, put the part
of that analysis focused on the Status Update right after the update ends and before moving on
to the Twitter Thread.
Twitter Thread (Three Tweets) — For the Twitter Thread, you have two formatting options. If
you have a Twitter account, compose the tweets as drafts, take a screen shot of them, and then
paste that image into the portfolio document at this point. If you don’t have Twitter, you can
put the tweets in text like Blog Post. Remember that each Tweet can only run 280 characters
and can include EITHER one link or two pictures. Include links at the end of the tweet it would
be included with and remember that will count for 15 of its 280 characters. If you are analyzing
your different argument forms as you go, put the part of that analysis focused on the Twitter
Thread right after the thread ends and before moving on to the Single Tweet.
Single Tweet — For the single tweet, you have the same two options as the thread: screen shot
a draft or produce it in plain text. You can use one link or two images with this tweet. If you are
analyzing your different argument forms as you go, put the part of that analysis focused on the
Single Tweet right after the tweet ends and before moving on to the Snap/TikTok.
Snap/TikTok — If you have selected to produce a Snap for this part of the assignment, take a
screen shot of it and include it at this point in the document. If you are making a TikTok, create
it in your drafts file and then download a copy of that file to your APU Google drive. Then, put a
link to that file at this point in the document that Dr. Clark can follow to watch your video. If
you are analyzing your different argument forms as you go, put the part of that analysis focused
on the Snap/TikTok right after it ends and before moving on to the Works Cited Page.
Full Analysis Section — If you completed the analysis portion of this assignment in one section,
please put the double-spaced, 12-pt. version of it here before moving on to the Works Cited
page.
Works Cited Page — Cite your two sources of support in MLA format here. The rubric page
should follow this one.
