Focus: Migrant construction workforce protection in the GCC.
Questions on the Focus: Is the workforce being mainly based on migrant workers impacting GCC countries’ in reaching high standards of health and safety? Is that why there is a lack of safety measures to protect these migrant workforce, in comparison to more developed countries that have more successful implementation of health and safety systems and protection. How can construction health and safety be improved upon? How can we shift towards equitable safety?
