Students will examine online materials from a STEM program and evaluate the program. The focus of this evaluation will be to apply the learning sciences to understand the potential effectiveness of the STEM program. Students will write a program evaluation that described the elements of the program, criteria used to evaluate the program, and results of the program evaluation. The purpose of this assignment is twofold.
First, the project is intended to help you gain real-world experience in applying your knowledge of the learning sciences to evaluate a STEM program.
Second, the project serves as a summative assessment of the skills and knowledge you have developed in this course.
