Research Critique (Individual Project)
Purpose: This assignment allows students to demonstrate their ability to integrate and apply knowledge in relation to critically evaluating published research studies as a foundation for making evidence-based practice decisions.
. Final papers whose similarity scores are greater than 25% will not be accepted.
Faculty may require students to work with a writing specialist via the online writing center before submitting the final paper.
Directions:
The faculty will determine the Quantitative Research article that will be critiqued.
The body of the paper should be no more than 10 double-spaced pages
No more than 2 direct quotes can be used in the paper
Use APA format for the development of paper
The class textbook plus a minimum of 3 relevant peer-reviewed research articles should be used (in addition to the article that is being critiqued) to guide thinking about the critique
Submit to turn-it in and revise as necessary to obtain an originality score of less than 25%
