The major assignment for this course is an 7-9 page (single-spaced) formal report. This assignment asks you to use the writing skills you’ve practiced in this class to develop a professional business report.
Assignment
You will prepare a complete rough draft of your Formal Report. The relative quality of the document is not necessarily factored into the grade. Your draft must include the following labeled elements/sections:
Introduction
Background
Discussion
Conclusions
Recommendations
References
All of the above body sections count towards your page range of 7-9 single-spaced pages. Up to 3 half-page graphics (images, charts, tables, graphs, etc.) can be included in the body section and do count towards your page limit.
Formatting Guidelines
Entire report should be delivered in one electronic file (.doc or .docx)
Spacing: your report will be single-spaced, as this is the expectation in the business environment
Margins: 1 or 1.25 inch margins all the way around the document
Font: 12 point Times New Roman, 12 point Cambria, or 12 point Calibri
Page numbers (Arabic numerals) should be centered at the bottom of each page
