The second option is to create a culminating project which critiques a piece of media. Choose a TV show or movie and write a 3-4 page, double spaced paper about how the plot and character development relate to our course concepts.
Use the following guiding questions to structure your paper. You are not limited to using these course concepts, and you are not required to answer all of the guiding questions. Depth of reflection and demonstration of your understanding of course content is key to receiving full marks.

How do you see power and privilege at play in interactions among the characters?
How are characters with marginalized identities treated by others?
Do you observe examples of socialization, including explicit and implicit messaging, regarding social identity? If so, how?
