Assignment: For this assignment, you will write a formal “sentence outline” of y

Assignment: For this assignment, you will write a formal “sentence outline” of your long position research paper involving using the classical structure of argument. A template has been provided to follow the outline structure as well as a student outline model to look at in this week’s learning module.
Note: The easiest way to complete this outline is to use the outline function in the word processor you’re using to create the specific heading levels within the essay. Please review the videos in the weekly module if you need additional assistance setting up an outline in a word processor.
Main Components:
A clear, multiple level outline paying attention to outline structure.
A sentence outline means that each section of the outline must be a complete sentence and consist of only one-two sentence(s) per point.
Follow the classical structure of argument when structuring the ideas in the paper
Proper documentation where outside information is included in the paper.
Note: The outline is about brevity, so DON’T write your entire paper in the outline level headings. In other words, DON’T provide paragraphs per each line heading. Instead, build the skeleton of your argument from thesis, main claims, opposing views, and evidence collected.
DO write in complete sentences and be mindful of how you’re ideas connect together. DO pay attention to the following: how the main argumentative points connect back to your thesis, how the evidence supports the main argumentative claims, and how the counterargument connects back to ONLY the main argumentative points you’ve made. Notice that connection is key here to help in building the logic of the paper. You can explain in more depth the connection once you draft the essay.
Remember that just like in your paper, you will need to provide in-text citations for source information that you will include as supporting evidence for your outline.
Format:
APA for in-text citations (NO Title REQUIRED for this assignment)
At the end of the outline provide a reference page in APA format with ONLY the sources used and cited within the outline
MLA Style Heading & Header
Students should use the template provided by the instructor to help  build their own outline and should use the outlining function in their word processor for help.
