You MUST use the MLALinks to an external site. system of parenthetical documentation and have a Works Cited page. If you are not familiar with the MLA system or if it has been awhile since you used it, you should make your appointment for the Writing Center now. You can also visit Purdue University Online Writing Lab (OWL) which many students find helpful with documentation.
You need to incorporate at least 4 sources into your paper. Do not use wikipedia/cliffnotes, etc., as sources. Comments by our authors in our textbooks as well as the tales themselves do not count as required sources–these would be extra sources. You need to use serious scholarly books and articles available at the NYIT library and elsewhere for your source material. Peer-reviewed articlesare generally very good sources. I will be looking at the quality of your sources. Many students make an appointment with a reference librarian at NYIT for extra support and I HIGHLY recommend this course of action. You can make the appointment online.
