Since you will not actually be conducting your own research projects for this class, you will be writing a Results section with a small group, based on data provided to you.
The total section should be 2-3 pages including tables and/or figures. See below for guidelines and criteria.
• The paper should consist of:
o A summary of the study and its goals as well as descriptive statistics on the
sample (approximately ½ page)
o Detailed description of the analyses, including stating each hypothesis, the tests
that were conducted, the results of each analysis, appropriate tables and/or
figures, and whether the hypotheses were supported or not (approximately 1.5-
2 pages)
▪ Note: each hypothesis should have its own subsection
• Ideas and findings should be arranged logically and clearly.
• Sentences should be well-phrased using proper grammar and spelling.
• APA formatting should be followed for text, tables, figures, and statistics
