Plan a group to be held in a social service agency, nonprofit, or private practice (This section should include the following information: the topic, length, open or closed, where the group is held, composition, orientation, environment, group leader requirements, private payer or insurance based.)
Research current literature on the type of group, and how others have facilitated similar groups, and include any evaluations of this approach.
Include at least an outline of 4 group therapy sessions in detail, including a beginning session, middle session, and termination session. Be sure to specify these clearly.
Discuss the way that your group will approach diversity and inclusion.
Include a discussion about the ethics of group practice, and how this will be applied.
Discuss important skill sets that group facilitators must have to run your planned group.
