Assume that your client is experiencing a great deal of ambivalence about getting a divorce, even though she tells you she is convinced that her marital situation is hopeless. She pleads with you to tell her whether she should remain married or get a divorce. Discuss (using the following as headings to your answers):
(1) The relevant codes from ACA(American Counseling Association), AMHCA(American Mental Health Association), and NBCC (National board of certified counseling) that relate to working with couples and families (be specific and cite the numerical coding for each code).
(2) What ethical issues/dilemmas (describe at least 3) are you facing (as the counselor) when working with this client?
(3) Your client expects you to provide her with an answer because she is coming to you as an expert. Write a counseling session where she begs you to tell her what to do, and you respond to her regarding this issue. Minimum of 10 lines for the counselor, 10 lines for the client.
