This project will consist of five

Follow these instructions exactly as written.
This project will consist of five slides. Do not submit more than five slides. THIS IS A PRESENTATION.
The first slide will contain all heading information
Go to the website, ‘I Side With.’ You will find this at the following link: I Side With. When you access this site, you will find, on the very first page, a section called ‘Popular Issues…’ Then, click on ‘All Issues…’ to expand your choices. You should see at least 100 issues to choose from. Choose three issues that interest you. You MUST choose one topic from the Science category, and you MUST choose one topic from the Criminal category. You will be writing on these issues to see how certain people in different states and with different political affiliations view the most pressing political matters.
You will create one slide for each topic using the chart below.
Use the chart below to provide your responses to the prompts. It can be copied and pasted into your document. You must follow the instructions carefully, step-by-step. YOU MUST USE THE CHART FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT. NO EXCEPTIONS!
1. Select your topic by clicking on the box. This topic will be in the form of a question. Type out (or copy) that question in the top row of your chart.
2. Write a summary of the paragraph you see directly underneath your chosen topic/question. This must be in your own words, and should be not less than 50 words.
3. In the second section, you will find two columns in the first row…one marked ‘Yes’ and one marked ‘No,’ each with a percentage. Make note of these numbers. They are larger and in bold, and constitute the overall percentage. Put these numbers in your chart.
4. Underneath that (this is the second row), you will find ‘Yes’ and ‘No,’ with no explanation, and underneath that row (this is the third row), you will find statements that also begin with the words ‘Yes’ and ‘No,’ but have explanations as to why voters voted the way that they did. Choose the most popular answer (again, this is the third row in this section), make note of the percentage, then read the reason given by voters and, in your own words, explain why voters voted the way that they did. You will do this for both the ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ columns, and your responses should be not less than 25 words each. Do not copy from the website.
5. Next, move to the ‘Historical Importance’ section and note the month and year that this topic you chose showed the most agreement between ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ voters (when the blue and green lines ran most parallel with one another, or even on top of each other). Then, explain why you believe voters came closest during that time. This requires outside research and your response should be not less than 50 words. Note: At least one of your references (outside sources) MUST relate to the research you did for this part of your assignment.
4. Next, scroll down to ‘Other Popular Answers,’ and select any three states (see the light blue area, which will say something like, ‘From Texas Answered…’ You will make note of each state, then type exactly what you see (copy the answers). Do this for three states.
Political Issue Question:
Paragraph Summary:
Overall Percentage of ‘Yes:’
Overall Percentage of ‘No:’
Highest Percentage of ‘Yes,’ with an Explanation (your own words):

Highest Percentage of ‘No,’ with an Explanation (your own words):
Historical Importance Month and Year (and write out your own explanation for this):
State No. 1 (list state and copy the exact response given on the website)
State No. 2 (list state and copy the exact response given on the website)
State No. 3 (list state and copy the exact response given on the website)
Do this for three different topics–one of which must be in the Science category and one of which must be in the Criminal category. Submit one slide per topic, for a total of three slides in this section. Make sure to present your responses in the chart, as shown. Each slide should present clear and concise information for the reader. This counts toward your final grade on this project.
On your fifth and final slide, include your sources. DO NOT EXCEED FIVE SLIDES.
