Examine a specific key issue, topic, and/or opportunity related to new media, new literacies or participatory cultures. The issue I choose is “the Impact of digital storytelling on student learning and engagement in the classroom.”) gather information to acquire expertise on the topic, develop an original argument, and write a scholarly paper. Also create a presentation on your topic that can be shared with students asynchronously.
Requirements:
The paper should be approx. 5-7 pages communicating your ideas
A purely subjective response to the topic without reference to the elements and methods of critical inquiry covered in class is not appropriate.
The power point presentation component should be completed using power point slides.
The final paper and presentation project must have an identifiable structure that includes an introduction, a body, and a conclusion.
