Using the information from chapter 4 on adherence, please develop a plan of action for your Health Behavior Change project (HBCP) that includes self-monitoring to help improve your adherence to your SMART goal.  Self-monitoring is known to be one of the most powerful techniques to improve one’s diet and physical activity (Michie et al., 2009).
Specifically, draft a detailed schedule/timetable (outlining hours, times, and daily/weekly goals) that will demonstrate how you will work on your target behavior for 4-6 weeks. In other words, develop a system for executing and monitoring your behavior (you should use a health behavior log).
Use empirical knowledge and evidence-based medicine to determine recommendations/guidelines for your specific behavior. In other words, use reputable/scholarly sources (e.g., if your behavior is sleep, visit the American Academy of Sleep Medicine website) to determine the quantity and quality necessary for a healthy lifestyle. This should be measurable.  We started to
