Consider a personal experience in which a supervisor provided you with feedback related to your performance. Briefly describe the experience and discuss whether the feedback was provided in an evidence-based manner as outlined in Chapter 6 of The Supervisor’s Guidebook. Then, following the steps for providing feedback, outline an example of how your supervisor should have provided feedback in a way that is reflective of this evidence-based approach. Finally, explain how reframing this feedback experience will help you be a more effective supervisor to others in your work (parents, direct support, classroom staff, etc.).

Be sure to maintain professionalism in your responses related to situations or scenarios.
