In Fahrenheit 451, Clarisse becomes good friends with Montag, the main character of the novel, who is employed to burn books. In doing so, she was able to inform Montag about unfortunate events within their society. How did meeting Clarisse affect Montag’s desire to find the hidden truths within his society and promote self discovery This connection the author brings forth led Montag to become curious about their secret society and to desire to rebel against societal norms. 
We can see in chapter 1 Clarisse asks a pivotal question that sparks a certain curiosity in Montag that leads 
(This is my work that I started) if you could just finish it from there.
These are the instructions 
1. Choose an aspect or section of the novel, Fahrenheit 451, that you find particularly interesting.  It will be impossible to analyze the entire novel effectively, so make sure that your essay has a specific focus.
2. Develop a question related to your answer info for #1. For example: “How does meaning of fire change throughout the novel?” 
3. Your developed one sentence answer to your question will be your thesis statement. Both your question and your thesis statement will be in your introduction.
4. Write a brief outline, so you know what the main idea of each paragraph will be. An outline can be as simple as my example below.
Sample Basic Outline
Introduction- write your question and your thesis statement (developed answer to your question).
Body paragraph 1- Include examples from the text to support your answer (thesis statement). 
Body paragraph 2- Include examples from the text to support your answer (thesis statement). 
Body paragraph 3+- Include examples from the text to support your answer (thesis statement). 
Conclusion- write what will go in this paragraph (closure, sum up main ideas, rephrase thesis)  
5. Start writing a draft of your essay.
