For this research assignment, we will have the option to write an essay, an interview with the author (imagined of course:)), a podcast discussion, a Tedtalk, or a short narrative/fictional story–for the podcast or TEDtalk, we would write the transcript.
THE GOAL: is to find ONE THEME/CONCEPT/ASPECT of the novel to hone in on AND we are asked to FIND AT LEAST 2 TO 3 SOURCES about the topic/that help us to discuss the topic–they can be about the novel or author , OR can somehow relate.
For example, we can use a psychology article/journal about empathy as a source to help us to explore the role of Laura’s hyper empathy in the novel.
We will be asked to use examples/quotes from the novel AND from our sources to respond to and analyze.
