STEP 1: Pick and sign up for a social issue that you would like to explore

If you are passionate about a topic that does not appear on the list, seek the teacher’s approval
STEP 2: Research your issue (using a minimum of TWO sources) in order to clearly and confidently answer these questions:

Why do we need to know about this issue?

When researching your social issue, try to find TWO different sources that will help you to answer the essential questions. Keep track of your sources! 
So, it is okay if you use the same source to answer more than one essential question, but it is vital to remember the importance of consulting more than one source in order to gain a well-rounded, unbiased perspective of the social issue. 
For each source that you decide to use, perform the CRAAP Test:
