For Step 1, you select a research topic directly related to minority groups such as African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic Americans in terms of race, women in terms of gender, gays and lesbians, people with disability, etc. covered in the textbook or beyond the book.
After you select your paper topic, you review literature in Step 2. You need to browse the Internet and visit the library to collect the existing data about the topic under study. There are two purposes of reviewing literature. First, you gather the existing data about the topic under study. Literature review will help you decide how you will work on your paper. By reviewing literature, you will know how to fit your research in the mainstream of the area under study.
In Step 3, you will formulate two hypotheses. For example, your topic of minority group is women. You try to argue that women are discriminated in terms of income. You can hypothesize that women are more likely to earn less income compared to men. Remember that hypotheses should be direct and specific. It is measurable. Please post your paper topic and two hypotheses in Module 5.
For Step 4, you design questionnaire to gather primary data along with your secondary sources that you gathered to support your hypotheses. In Step 5, you write your paper and report your findings. Please refer to grading criteria and sample paper in module 4 because your paper is graded according to them. Please submit your paper for grade in Module 4.
1. Write a 10 -page research paper with the topic of Minority group (10 pages include all below)

7. Interpretation is the body of the paper and longest of the paper: 1) you start this section with your hypotheses; 2) you bring in at least six sources to support your first hypothesis; 3) and bring in your secondary sources to back up your second hypothesis.
8. Conclusion 1) summarizes what you have done in the paper and 2) provides strategies for reducing the degree of discrimination against the minority group under study
9. Reference page with at least six sources at the end of the paper
