·       The school shield assignment is meant to help you reflect on the type of school you want to develop academically, culturally, behaviorally, and etc.
·       Use at least 3 references.
You are a new administrator and you will have the opportunity to create a new school motto, build a system of sharing all types of information among teachers and students, and build academic success- regardless of their current status. This new start allows you to build a culture that can reduce the number of dilemmas that could possibly occur in your school.
1-A. Develop a motto that has at least 4 major themes. This should be age appropriate, significant to student growth, supportive of a productive culture and the academic needs of the students. 
B. Illustrate the significance of this new motto, by developing a new shield to be the physical presence of that motto. This shield may include the mascot and/or represent the school itself on the school’s letterhead, for example. (100 points)
2-A typical honor system for students, a “Voice Your Concerns” box for teachers, “Lead and     Share Time” at faculty meetings, student-run teams and clubs, and an anonymous hotline    for  other stakeholders are some common efforts made by administrators to keep the lines of communication open. Enhance and develop your very own 2 areas that you would institute, in order to reduce isolation, the number of dilemmas you could face, and to heighten communication. Be thorough and prescriptive in the why, how, what, who, when, and where accounts about them. Creativity counts! (100 points)
3-Develop a set of teacher competencies or expectations. These should be important to you, the administrator. They will include the skills, teaching expectations, and codes of conduct that you expect as the administrator. You should list and describe at least 5, how they must abide by each, the consequences/remediation involved, if they are not attained, and the reward system in place for reaching and surpassing expectations. These five should be grounded in the motto you have developed. (75points)
4- Include a cover page and a reference page (minimum of 3 references required). (25pts)
