You will create an infographic related to social psychology. You can choose any topic that we have covered or will cover in thisclass. You will need to research your topic and provide empirical facts and citations. For the infographic, you can choose to raise awareness about a particular topic, provide helpful resources aimed at a specific group, dispel known stigmas, or simply teach materials to an audience. YOU MUST DISCUSS HOW THIS PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENA COULD ACTUALLY IMPACT REAL LIFE. YOU COULD DO THIS WITH EXAMPLES FROM YOUR OWN LIFE OR HYPOTHETICAL EXAMPLES YOU CREATE. You may use any free software of your choice (e.g., Canva, Piktochart, Visme, etc.) to create an engaging infographic.
The main purpose of this assignment is to help you (a) practicereading psychological research, and (b) develop effective techniques for communicating complicated information to an audience.
Specific Requirements
• Include a brief explanation of the issue or topic.
• Provide at least three sources of empirical evidence
o Acceptable sources include your textbook, journal articles, and reputable, factual online sources (NOT Wikipedia; although, Wikipedia can point you in the direction of scientific articles).
o Indicate the source(s) of empirical information.
▪ For example, you might say “According to Scientific American,” or use parenthetical citations at the end (Scientific American), or even a number (1) referencing your reference list.
• In text citations: You should provide in-text citations in one of the following formats:
