You have learned about technology and curriculum innovations. This assignment will allow you to analyze this information in light of your curriculum change plan topic. These analyses are essential for the relevance of the curriculum change plan with modern curriculum technology needs.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download and complete the Curriculum Change Plan: Part 6 – Technology and Innovation Plan Template. The template sections are described as follows:
• Technology Concepts – Identify two technology concepts that relate the most to your curriculum change plan. Examples include digital citizenship, collaboration, e-learning fatigue, etc. Explain how you plan to account for these in your curriculum change plan. What are some potential advantages and disadvantages?
• Models of Curriculum Innovation – Identify one curriculum innovation model you will use for your curriculum change plan. Examples include the Research, Development, and Diffusion (RD&D) Model, the Social Interaction (SI) Model, etc. Why did you select it, and how does it align with your curriculum change plan? What are some potential advantages and disadvantages?
• Recent Technology Research Study – Locate one recent (in the past five years) research study on one technology concept for your curriculum change plan. What is the theoretical basis for the study? Provide a summary and explain how it applies to your curriculum change plan topic.
Not including the title page or references, there should be at least 1,500 but no more than 2,000 words of text in the body of your template. List the word count on the title page of the template.
