based on an article, you may choose multiple works) and read the original source. You will then
write a paper discussing the theory and your thoughts about it (e.g., strengths/weaknesses,
critiques, utility, theory to practice opportunities)
The paper should include the following components:
1. title and author of the book
2. an explanation of the format of the book and a summary of key points
3. the most important information about the theory that you learned from the book
(especially in comparison/contrast to what you learned about the theory from the assigned
reading for class)
4. questions about the theory that were generated for you by reading the book
5. strengths and weaknesses of the book itself, including any suggestions for improvement you would make if the author was considering doing a revised edition
