For this assignment you will be writing an introduction section from a lab report for the opponent process lab (bean bag toss). An introduction section should be somewhat of a literature review. You will want to find scientific articles that describe theories we talked about in class to support why we used the bean bag toss model. Finding papers on opponent process theory, tolerance, and/or withdrawal would be a good start. What is opponent process theory? How have other labs modeled opponent process theory/withdrawal/tolerance? How do these topics apply to what we did in class? Google scholar is a great resource to use to find peer reviewed articles. On top of the introduction section, you will be expected to use proper APA source formatting in a reference section. In your intro section text you should have “information from article” (authors last name, date of publication) as proper in text citation. This should be followed by a reference section in proper APA format with the full citation. These should be in alphabetical order and have a hanging indent. There are many citation generator websites online to make these for you, just double check they are providing the correct format.
